![]() ![]() ![]() So preoccupied have I been reliving a succession of past experiences while writing a long poem dedicated to Franklin Rosemont. Posted J- I only just noticed that the leaves on all the trees are full out green. Jablonski was one of the speakers at a memorial service for Rosemont held at Chicago's Newberry Library on July 11, 2009. We asked Pennsylvania's Joseph Jablonski, a longtime friend of Rosemont's and fellow surrealist activist, to write the following remembrance. He was also a pre-eminent American Surrealist and labor historian. ![]() Rosemont was a writer and chief editor at Chicago's venerable Charles H. Franklin and wife Penelope Rosemont, early 1980sĪmerican letters lost one of its true originals with the passing of Franklin Rosemont in April 2009. ![]()
